Officially opened in 1994, Singapore’s Night Safari was the world’s first nocturnal zoo. At 35 hectares in size, the Night Safari is next to the Singapore Zoo and Upper Seletar Reservoir.
The Night Safari is home to more than 2,500 animals across 130 species. It’s an open-air night zoo that’s divided into 7 geographical regions and can be explored on foot or on tram.

Opening Hours:
- Daily: 7:00pm-12:00am (last admission 11:15pm)
- Creatures of the Night Show: Daily at 7:30pm, 8:30pm and 9:30pm and also at 10:30pm on Friday, Saturday and eve of Public Holidays
- Thumbuakar Fire Show: Daily (except Wednesdays) at 7:00pm, 8:00pm and 9:00pm with extra show at 10:00pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Eve of Public Holidays
